Well balanced semi long straight barrel with a torpedo type feel.
With appearance at the PDC World Cup of Darts for Jose Marques, the Type 2 was developed with the intention of transition from soft tip towards the PDC.
With the balance point of the barrel being at center, the barrel is considered to be a short straight barrel at 44mm. Towards the back from the balance point, the barrel is made up of ring cut that is not too aggressive with thin and light vertical cuts.
With limited cuts on the barrel, this makes it easy to find the gripping point. Behind the ring cuts and vertical cuts, tapers were added. By using the two sections evenly, it results in a clean release of the dart and thus increases controllability.
At the front of the barrel is the single ring cut that is used to assist in completing the grip and to be used as a reference point.
It is a well balanced yet simple semi long straight barrel that is suitable for those that prefer a compact grip.
