The barrel that will fly true to the throw.
A short torpedo barrel that will yield the ideal trajectory.
The main gripping area consists of alternating double ring cut and sharp delta cuts.
With each double ring cut and delta cut as one set, the height of the cuts are different as it gets closer to the centre of the barrel. With this, it provides an efficient transfer of power onto the barrel and provides a clean release as the dart leaves the hand.
In addition, by making the balance point just behind the centre of the barrel, this helps in throwing the dart into the ideal projected trajectory.
The two shark cut at the front and the indents where there are no cuts applied all contributes towards stabilizing the grip.
It is because Shiori Sato doesn’t use any take back when she throws, a barrel that comes off the hand cleanly and to be able to throw into the projected trajectory were important concepts that lead to the release of this barrel.
